Please, comments are wanted on this entry.
If anyone who reads this is involved in online dating, this is not to offend or discourage, but I find it one of the funniest things in cyber-space. I think it's fun to get on and critique profile picts. (I never send comments, don't think I'm mean about this.)
But here are some things that drive me nuts, let me know if you've noticed these things too.

Size: 1x1 inch thumbnails as a profile pict.

Opposite Gender: You're on a dating site trying to sell yourself, why the heck would you post a pict of you and your ex-significant other?

Same Gender: Once again, you're there to sell yourself, if the pict is you and your best bud, who's the viewer gonna check out?

Crappy Quality: 1.3 mega pixel web-cams and digitals of the same technology don't make very good pictures when they get enlarged.

Wash Out: Either learn to dim your flash or move away from the camera!

Lighting: It's not that hard to change the position of the camera a little so that people can see you face and not a silhouette!

The Photographer: Ever notice that the "hold the camera at arms length, smile, and click" pictures always come across as really lame looking?

Extra Space: You should be the center of attention in your photograph, not the girl in the bikini behind you.

Too Artsy: Artistic photos are cool and all, but if it makes you look like you just got in from Mars, I have no idea why it's posted.

Kids: If you have children and need viewers to know that, fine. If you holding your 3-month-old nephew, I assure you, everyone will think you come with it.

Cut Outs: Hand cropping a photo is cheesy, especially when an arm is left draped over your shoulder.
